Pancake Tuesday

 

So we had a few friends over on tuesday night for pancakes and sweet potato chips and breakfast tea.

Then, on Wednesday morning I did it all over again, for one. I have 4 delicious pancakes with a variety of fillings, including homemade apple sauce and creme fraiche, and Nutella. And it was good. Very good. Maybe I'll make pancakes this weekend!

Remember When...

...There were massive pancakes from The Breakfast Club in Hoxton and they were unblievably massive with clotted cream? I frequently miss London eateries. Some of the best.

 'Do not weep for me for me, for mine lips have tasted the greatest pancakes of them all*'

*truth be told the pancakes themselves were overdone/stodgy, but the presentation was so perfect, and they were so reasonably priced, and the clotted cream was so outrageous, that I forgive this minor flaw.
